TPS+Plus Overview
We all know the advantages of Direct Feeds. In the past, the albatross that typically prevented many firms from taking feeds direct from exchanges and other data originators was the substantial cost of developing and operating an in-house ticker plant. First there was the cost to develop all the software: feed handlers, data normalization, caching, distribution, interfaces. Then there was the ongoing cost of operation: monitoring systems, fault recovery, and continuous system enhancements to keep up with changes to feed specifications and ever-growing data volumes.
Forget all of that because now you can have the advantages of Direct Feeds without the cost. InfoDyne’s TPS+Plus: Ticker Plant Solutions provides all the functionality you need, at a fraction of the cost of building it yourself.
TPS+Plus is the highest performing and most advanced ticker plant technology available, offering guaranteed flat sub-millisecond performance and scaling capabilities to meet ever increasing traffic rates. Performance aside, TPS+Plus also offers the broadest data and system integration functionality in the industry, resulting from years of adding seamless integration capabilities supporting customer’s existing systems and applications.
In general, TPS+Plus is a tailored ticker plant technology that is made up of various TPS+Plus product components as necessary to address the specific functional, performance, capacity, and integration needs of our customers. TPS+Plus systems can be deployed to processes any number of direct exchange, ECN, and vendor consolidated feeds. TPS+Plus also supports integration of value-added, customer specific, or other forms of data as necessary and comes with flexible off-the-shelf utilities to subscribe/contribute such data. TPS+Plus systems include a tailored distribution architecture including a highly scalable middleware technology (InfoDyne's
Middleware2) and seamless integration options with other vendor’s middleware systems.
Typical TPS+Plus deployments include some number of Exchange Servers, Middleware Infrastructure, Class Libraries, an Entitlement System, Administrative utilities, and client applications. The system also supports several integration options for Triarch®, TIB®, RMDS®, WebSphere®, LBM®, RV®; and, may be deployed on-site at a customer location, or at a managed service facility (with plug-n-play integration solutions running at the customer’s location).
Finally, in regards to on-going maintenance: leave it to us. In either deployment scenario described above, the system can be fully managed by InfoDyne, along with the customer as necessary, using InfoDyne’s administrative utilities, desktop products, and off-the-shelf SNMP tools. We have several support and managed services options available to stay ahead of any upcoming changes to feed specifications, increasing data rates, and technology advancements, keeping your system optimal operation level and up-to-date at all times.
