InfoDyne Announces Next Generation Enterprise Technology
Enterprise Gateway Integrates Multiple Market Data Systems
InfoDyne Corporation, a leading provider of direct exchange ticker plant, straight through processing, and middleware technology for the financial markets, today announced the availability of Enterprise Gateway capability within its latest Middleware2 product release. This capability is unique in that it is the only available solution that seamlessly integrates in a common Middleware2 enterprise any combination of Reuters RMDS, classic TIB, or Triarch systems. Based on InfoDyne’s Middleware technology, this integration ensures that the services of all interconnected systems are available across each individual system, and to any users or applications of each independent system.
“To remain competitive our customers demand high performance systems to distribute market data with the lowest possible latency. They also look to reduce cost by gaining maximum leverage from their existing environments. The Enterprise Gateway allows them to take advantage of our direct exchange TPS+Plus™ and STP+Plus™ products, and to share services between legacy market data distribution systems and our Middleware2 Enterprise Architecture”, said Dan Reinmund, Vice President of Operations at InfoDyne. “For many clients, it is not unusual to have an RMDS system in New York, a Triarch in London, a TIB in Tokyo, and a Middleware2 in Chicago. The Enterprise Gateway enables our customers to seamlessly tie them all together”, Reinmund added.
For trading houses, the need to migrate market data systems from the older generation Triarch and TIB to the latest RMDS and Middleware2 comes amid a struggle to contain cost and maximize existing infrastructure. The Enterprise Gateway functionality allows clients on older generation systems to draw upon the resources of newer system services while existing applications are migrated to the latest platforms. It extends the implementation options available to planners of new system deployments by enhancing migration strategies and disaster recovery solutions. Moreover, it permits global access to direct data feed services that may only be available on a regional basis.
“We have directly integrated our agnostic API adaptor technology within our infrastructure, adding to the flexible deployment options we offer customers”, said Falke Bruinsma, Senior Vice President of Development at InfoDyne. “I think customers like the fact that we directly support their existing technology within our products”, Bruinsma added.
The Enterprise Gateway provides for automatic fail-over, load-balancing, and the routing of configurable cross-data traffic between multiple systems. It may also be used to construct a Managed Service offering supporting multiple types of client-site integration options. The Enterprise Gateway provides trading firms the functionality needed to reduce expenses and increase efficiency by leveraging their data and technical infrastructures on a global scale.
