Source Resolution, also referred to in the industry as Single Name Space, is the capability of a user to submit a simple data request regardless of its source. Via TPS+Plus middleware and the IT Resolution Server, the InfoDyne ticker plant system makes this feature a reality and intelligently resolves data requests so that client applications need not be aware of the source of a particular data element (i.e. data item origination is transparent to the user).

 

 

More importantly, the Resolution Server introduces no added latency. TPS+Plus also retains critical functionality such as data blending, data models, option grids, chaining, underlying references and other capabilities that are simplified within a single server instance, but become complex when distributed across an array of servers.
