IT B-Pipe Server for TPS+Plus (ITBP)

Bloomberg has a long history as a major player in the market for real-time market data consolidation and distribution for sales and trading. In July 2005, Bloomberg introduced its platform-independent B-Pipe data feed. This feed allows proprietary Bloomberg data to be integrated directly into a variety of distribution environments and ultimately into existing data consumption applications. This introduction alters the competitive landscape for market data technologies since consolidated data feeds are no longer tied to market data distribution platforms.

Now supported on InfoDyne's suite of industry-leading market data applications via the B-Pipe Server for TPS+Plus, a perfect partnership for the B-Pipe data feed is the result. The agnostic platform on which InfoDyne's TPS+Plus is based provides a powerful and comprehensive liaison between Bloomberg's popular B-Pipe data and your current enterprise financial systems. Bloomberg Professional® customers are now able to leverage InfoDyne's TPS+Plus technology to integrate the Bloomberg data that their business applications continue to rely upon daily for program trading, order routing and arbitrage.

Using the TPS+Plus architecture to integrate Bloomberg content into existing architectures provides the customer with flexibility as well as a robust feature set intrinsic to the TPS+Plus product suite, including: data normalization and mapping, data blending, entitlements, usage reporting, automatic failover and recovery, monitoring capabilities, low latency, high capacity & scalability, and high reliability.

The robust integration of Bloomberg’s B-Pipe into InfoDyne’s architecture results in a remarkably seamless system. Plug the B-Pipe Server for TPS+Plus directly into your existing RMDS, TIB, Triarch, or InfoDyne Middleware infrastructure and data model. Scale your system dynamically to consume the breadth of Bloomberg content while maintaining a single namespace, masking numerous upstream “DID’s”.

By adding support for the Bloomberg B-Pipe feed to the TPS+Plus product family, InfoDyne continues to ensure that trading firms can freely choose the sources of data that best meet their business requirements. The solution ensures full access to the wide range of data sources and types available over the B-Pipe feed, including all exchange, depth of book, proprietary and contributor data. Consume every tick and every trade from over 200 Global Exchanges and more than 500 contributors taking B-Pipe through InfoDyne’s Zero Latency TPS Plus infrastructure. Blend in real-time local exchange data or your own fundamentals and value-add.

All B-Pipe data is self-identifying, thereby enabling entitlement while facilitating reporting and compliance requirements. B-Pipe is integrated with InfoDyne's Entitlement System allowing customers to enforce usage rights for fee-liable exchange and third-party data. In addition, InfoDyne's Entitlement System supports usage collection and reporting, simplifying the fulfillment of reports to Bloomberg, exchange and third-party providers.

The combination of TPS+Plus technology with Bloomberg global data content increases customers' competitive advantage while also simplifying compliance with emerging market regulations. Reg NMS in the US and MiFID in Europe both require broker dealers to provide evidence of best execution for their customers. Merging the rich feature and data feed support of InfoDyne's TPS+Plus system with the valuable data set of B-Pipe gives the customer a broad, real-time and fault-tolerant view into international markets.
