NASDAQ Integration
The systems integration of NASDAQ in October 2006 resulted in increased order interaction, execution speed and fill rates. There was, however, a significant impact on existing systems, and subscribers were forced to develop strategies to mitigate front-end exposure.
Already by the beginning of July of 2006, InfoDyne had fully evaluated the impact of the proposed NASDAQ integration and had initiated contact with all applicable customers, educating them on the significance of the upcoming changes and InfoDyne’s strategy for migrating to the new paradigm seamlessly. Before August had arrived, InfoDyne’s revised order book feed handler software had completed a full test cycle and was released, giving customers ample time to work this release into their project plan prior to NASDAQ’s rollout. This release included a full spectrum of features, including intelligent symbol masking and compression support.
